Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, Life happens! We do our best to stay flexible while keeping space for every family that needs care.

STANDARD VISITS (Daily drop-ins, walk, etc)

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before visit: No Refund. 
  • Cancellations made 24-48 hours before visit: Refund of 50% the total visit.
  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to visit: Full Refund

HOLIDAY BOOKINGS

**Holiday care is a high-demand, limited availability service**

  • If cancelled more than 7 Days before start date: 50% of total booking will be Refunded
  • If cancelled 7 Days or less before start date: Non-refundable

OVERNIGHT & TRAVEL CARE

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more before the start date: No Charge
  • Cancellations made 3-6 days before start date: 50% of total stay is non-refundable
  • Cancellations made less than 3 days before start date: Full fee applies

EMERGENCY

  • If you must cancel due to a "verified" emergency (medical, weather event, family emergency), fees may be waived or credited at PetPal, LLC's discretion. 

Early Return

  • No refunds for unused visits if not notified prior to 24 hours.

Extended Visits

  • We will do our best to accommodate extended visits. Additional charges apply at our standard rate(s). 

Services

Petpal LLC will not share pet sitting service responsibilities with Third parties, friends, neighbors, and or family.

Veterinary Care Authorization

In the event of a medical emergency, PetPal LLC is authorized to seek veterinary care for my pet. Every effort will be made to contact the owner first. If unreachable, PetPal LLC may transport my pet to a veterinarian or emergency clinic. The client agrees to be financially responsible for all veterinary costs.

Client Home Access

  • Petpal LLC requires any keys needed to provide pet sitting services be issued in person at the meet-n-greet. 
  • If key(s) are not ready at the meet-n-greet and/or the key(s) will not be kept by PetPal LLC, a $10 fee for each will be added to pick up and drop off the key(s). 
  • Petpal LLC will not accept key pick-ups and drop-offs in the following manors: Lockbox, garage entry code, key(s) left with building concierge, mailboxes, under doormats or hidden on Client's property. 

Home Safety Clause

The Client agrees to provide a safe environment for pet care. PetPal LLC is not responsible for incidents resulting from unsafe home conditions, faulty equipment, or unsecured pets. 

Property Access Liability

PetPal LLC is not responsible for loss or damage due to faulty locks, security systems, or other Third party access issues. 

Aggressive/Unsafe Pet Clause

Safety and Behavior Disclosure

The client agrees to disclose any history of aggression, biting, anxiety, or unsafe behavior. PetPal LLC reserves the right to terminate services immediately if a pet poses a safety risk. The client remains fully responsible for any injuries or damages caused by their pet(s). 

Weather/Force Majeure

Unforeseen Events

PetPal LLC is not liable for service interruptions due to severe weather, natural disasters, or events beyond its control.

Assistant/Family Help Clause

Authorized Care Providers

PetPal LLC services may be performed by the owner and/or a trained family assistant. All individuals providing care are authorized under PetPal LLC and held to the same standards of service. 

Pet Behavior and Property Damage Clause

Damage and Liability

PetPal LLC is not responsible for damage caused by pets to the Client's home or property. The Client agrees to cover any damage caused by their pet during the agreed service period. 

Farm and Specialty Animal Care

PetPal LLC provides care for a variety of animals, including poultry and farm animals. The Client must provide clear written instructions for care. PetPal LLC is not responsible for loss due to natural causes, predators, or environmental factors beyond control. 

Payment Agreement

All services must be paid according to the agreed schedule. PetPal LLC reserves the right to pause or decline services if payment terms are not met.
